Throughout the years, Double Stitch has evolved from a collection of show stopping handmade crochet apparel to The Double Stitch Twins, a brand that influences the rapid pulse of fashion for past, present and future crochet artists and admirers.
With that said, we are presently unavailable to create special order hand crochet items. However inventory items are available at our live trunk show events listed on www.doublestitchtwins.com and at our online boutique, www.doublestitch.etsy.com. We have thoroughly enjoyed the process of crocheting so many “Special Order” garments for our clients all over the world and although we will miss this facet of our business, we are elated to explore crochet in a way that allows us to share more of our personalities, our patterns and brand with everyone. While we experience this growth spurt, The Double Stitch clothing brand will be made available in boutique locations so, we’ll keep you posted through our Newsletter updates.

Signature Styles – 20 Stitchers Craft their look
We got our copy of the Signature Styles Book in the mail, and it is beautiful! The editor, Jenny Doh, did a wonderful job of putting it together, and it looks like an inspiring springtime LIVING magazine/coffee table book, but better!
It is the perfect book for all Crafters because they can take projects from the 20 popular fashionably crafty ladies and make their styles their own, while giving very interesting insight into the lives of each artist. There are projects like felt bracelet cuff, Rain cape, a beautiful leaf headband, and even an upcycled sweater with a faux fur collar!
The Double Stitch Twins Layout is 6 pages (p. 76 -81), and the Signature Style project that we share, is a Remix Halter top which infuses hand dyed cotton fabric, denim panels and of course crochet, with Red Heart Yarn.

The Double Stitch Twins @ the CHA Craft SuperShow!
We hit the ground running in 2010, by debuting at the CRAFT & HOBBY ASSOCIATIONS, Craft Super Show in Anaheim, California and the craft world is still buzzing with excitement! We had a blast while we did book signings, taught crochet workshops and even got a chance to interview some of our favorite Craft Celebrities!Now, we’re elated to announce that we’ll be doing it again this Summer, closer to our hometown, right in Rosemont Illinois! Join us at CHA Craft SuperShow consumer event from Friday, July 30 to Saturday, July 31, 2010. We are super excited to host our very own Crochet Workshop entitled “Remix it, with the Crochet Fashionistas”!
